It seems that re-creating paintings in 3D is becoming more popular lately – I'm also seeing a lot on Sketchfab these days. Nazar Noschenko created this stunning work – in fact, I was so surprised by the quality that I asked for some screenshots as 'proof' it was done in Blender.

My recently work, inspired by picture “The first grail” of Margaret Keane.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.

Bart, thanks for high opinion! It’s really nice to hear it) And also thanks to Margaret Keane for her sad eyes) It was very interesting experience of re-creating her painting.
