Blender can be found in a video by PanoptikonVR, a multi-cam GoPro rig for VR recording.

Makers of PanoptikonVR show their workflow needed to shoot immersive 360 video content and their initial designs for this cool 360 rig. All the files that has been shot are synchronized, aligned and stiched using software they have developed. The video has to be processed manually and they claim that this get better quality video then automatic solutions. The result is a stereo 3D 360 panorama video. But the interesting part for us is that the rig seems to be designed in good old Blender. In some shots we can see Blender in action. I hope they can share the self developed software for stitching so that Blender could be implemented into the workflow not only for designing the rig but for content creation as well.

These guys also made a Metal Gear short where they used blender with cycles for the 3D. Just a shout out.
Cool! Do you have a link?
https://youtu.be/DpFtQ8tHLjA?t=3m8s Is the behind the scenes where they mention Blender and Cycles
https://youtu.be/aZCFN8sTm1M Is the final short video, since Konami apparently got a bit upset, and they didn't make a whole video.
