Hi all I work in the game industry and have been looking at blenders game engine for some time. I decided to try out what could be achieved rendering a character with some proper materials this is the result!

  1. I was introduced to Blender at Naughty Dog and used it to test stuff there on Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us. I started really liking it so I used it in production on Call of Duty:Ghosts and a lot of Battlefield 4's DLC. I was the only artist using it that I know of. I was introduced to it by a programmer who used it for testing and I know another programmer at DICE LA was a big Blender fan also. Nobody ever gave me a hard time for using it.. other artists were mostly just curious. I have a strange feeling that it will start eeking into production more and more.
