Hi all I work in the game industry and have been looking at blenders game engine for some time. I decided to try out what could be achieved rendering a character with some proper materials this is the result!

I was introduced to Blender at Naughty Dog and used it to test stuff there on Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us. I started really liking it so I used it in production on Call of Duty:Ghosts and a lot of Battlefield 4's DLC. I was the only artist using it that I know of. I was introduced to it by a programmer who used it for testing and I know another programmer at DICE LA was a big Blender fan also. Nobody ever gave me a hard time for using it.. other artists were mostly just curious. I have a strange feeling that it will start eeking into production more and more.
We are using blender and makehuman for our open source project (no surprise), but we will use it also in the next project, that will be a commercial RPG.
