Mouse brain simulation with Blender

A research experiment has modeled a 200,000 neuron mouse brain. They are using Blender for the visualization part, where the virtual mouse responds to stimuli in real time.

They could use some help with their rigs though ;-)

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!).
