I wish this was as simple as putting keyframes in the Mapping node, but maybe someday! Good work, John!
Yeah hopefully one day. That would make life a lot easier. plus that would make the node editor a lot more powerful for the bge
Indeed, it would be pretty much good to do that in this way. Hope, Blender gods will hear you.
Maybe they will add it one day. Probably not for a bit tho. The Blender Foundation is more interested in making Cycles better. The bge is not that high on there list i dont think
Apparently, the BGE is not so interresting for the Blender Foundation, as you said. But they are right because the BGE is not so much used (maybe I'm wrong). In any way, let's hope for further improvements for the BGE. And more tuts from you. :))
Yeah i think you are correct. The only problem is that to get more uses we need more development to the engine. Most of the people will go use unity because it's got more development going on. Don't get me wrong i love and use the bge everyday but it is a bit behind other engines in some places because of the lack of development :D. But i believe with a bit more Development on the engine. it could be something amazing and is something amazing. There will be more tuts coming from me too
Totally right with you. Thanks again for your invaluable tuts.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Well made, and even though I didn't get through the whole thing (yet!), I learned tons of valuable tips!
