Kids + Open Source = Awesomeness. This video makes me very happy :)

Pete Dakin organized an after-school club for 10-11 year olds at Dormansland Primary School and they released their first production after an 8-week long program. The goal of the club was to introduce the children to the creation process behind making a 3d movie, including tracking, animation, and visual effects.
Their video, titled "Movie in the Playground", was released on July 20th and it's really quite impressive to see what these kids have put together with the help of the coaches in just a short 8 weeks. Between the kids acting, the overall concept, and the production itself the final result was a huge success and something to be proud of, congrats!
This 8-week program was a trial run for Pete's 3d Movie School endeavor aimed at creating these clubs for schools all over the UK and introducing 3d art to those of a young age. With this trial run being such a success I hope to see this club continue and to see a lot more pop up soon.

I think they focused more on tracking and VFX. Still, pretty cool job!
