I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Looks really yummy!
    Quick Question to Bart:
Is it normal that there is more and more double posts on blendernation?
I've seen 3 double articles in two days, including this one.
I already posted a comment on this article yesterday.
Same with the DVD/Blu ray/USB card for Gooseberry yesterday.

Just wondering if it is normal.

    Thank again.

    • Are you sure about that? This article went up yesterday, you can't have commented on it before then. Can you please provide some links of double posts? I'd be very surprised :)

      • With pleasure Bart :)

Here are the ones for the Gooseberry DVD:
        http://www.blendernation.com/2015/09/09/gooseberry-dvds-and-data-cards-are-here/
        and
        https://gooseberry.blender.org/dvds-and-data-cards-are-here/
(I realized that most often blender.org links your articles directly to your website, but this one seems to be two treads (one on your site and one on blender.org)

As for the chocolate, there is this present tread, and I remember commenting the author yesterday on how good it looked and how it just made me want to eat some pudding. I just can't find it. Sorry Bart. I'm pretty sure I see post often double post and you end up with two identical article twice and there is comments on one of them, but then the new re posted one comes up, an no more comments. I use different computers, so probably nothing to do with the cash or browser or system.
Again, maybe it has something to do with blender.org's side. I always go there by default to read the news, and they link to your news directly over there site.

        Hope this help.

Again, not a big deal, just that it gets confusing at times if there is two similar tread.

        Anyone else experience this?

Thank you for your time Bart.

        Best regards, Aclariel.

        • Ah, you're confusing different sites. I only post each article once, but I almost always refer to another site. It's possible you've also seen it there.

          • That is probably what happened then.
I'll make sure I change my default starting page directly to BlenderNation.com and read the news from here directly.

            Thanks again Bart :)

            Always appreciated.

            Aclariel.

    • Test completed, was just wondering why my comment (reply) above was getting moderated.
Just never seen this before. Is it waiting for approval just when it is a reply directly to you are replies in general? Because regular post are not. Again thank you for your insight. You can also delete this comments ones solved. I don't want to take this creator's post with troubleshooting comments ;)

Let me know what you find, and if I can be of any help.

      Thanks again Bart.
