      • On previous version of Blender Hub, we had Blender Versions and tag but we found that it wasn't very helpful. So we removed it on current version. Instead of that we improve the search to show the most relevant video tutorials.

  1. Hi,

That looks awesome !!! I currently don't have a very stable connection to internet so I just browsed quickly through the site. ^^

    I have a few questions though :
I am a French Blender tutorial author. How do I become an author on Blender Hub ? What must I do ?
"Our aim is to make it a place where people can learn Blender all in one place."
I guess that if that's the case you are not planning on restricting your tutorial selection to just the English ones are you ?
So, if I can be an author on your site, are you planning on adding a way to sort tutorials by languages ?
I'm sorry I can't browse through your site that easilly (maybe the answers to my questions are already obvious :s ).

    • There is no Author account. Those are just Author profile that we created ourselves so that we can link videos to their original author. User can suggest authors or any video tutorials to us and we will review it and create a author profile ourselves and then add videos.

We have created your profile according to your YouTube Account and also added the videos. Here is the link: http://blenderhub.com/author/511/tutos-blender/video.html

Like I have mentioned above, we had many filters on old Blender Hub version but those things were not that useful. So we removed all the filter and improve the search to show the most relevant video tutorials.

      Thanks
      Blender Hub

  2. Woah great, thanks for the reply :)

Again, I'm sorry for the silly questions but this looks great and I couldn't wait a whole week to discover it, I had to ask. :p
However in my opinion some filters are good : I'm not speaking with experience and I guess you know better than me yet, I believe that quite a good amount of people expect to see those filters and would be used to search with them. Again, I'm not pretending I know better but it just seems strange to me that filters are "not that useful" when you have that much content. ^^

    Thanks again

    • Hi,

That's all right. The reason those filters where not that useful on previous version could be that there were not much tutorials. But it sure is a great idea to have it now since there are lot more tutorials in current Blender Hub website.

We are also working on so that it will be easier for user to find Blender Tutorials. We will look into it and put those filters on our to do list. We have recently launched Blender Hub with new version, so it will take some time before will roll out any new features.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.

      Regards
      Blender Hub

  3. As any noob nowadays makes Blender tutorials, the quality of them very differs. How will you handle this so the site offers also quality and not only quantity?

Some tutorials I find very wrong or even misleading.
