Hi all,
This may sound like an unusual post but I wanted to share this nice story with the community.
I was hired to train Alain, helping him to improve is modeling technic and get rid of bad habits.
We've spent 3 days of intense training on modeling, hsading and post production and on the beginning of the fourth day he came up with a question...I've given him an Advanced Creation photoshop magazine to review (#75) and he asked him how ZHIVKO TERZIIVANOV could make such images.
I just told him let's do it!
After 2 days we ended up with this nice old style radio and these slightly cartoonish renders:
What's up then?
Alain is a 60 years old blender user that still has this common thirst for knowledge, this child look to his picture, this "I'm so happy" feeling when it got completed and this was one of the best reward ever.
I couldn't reach my train due to storm issues and we both end up having dinner in his big farm in the eastern Parisian region sharing great moments thanks to Blender.
This given me so much hope that whatever you're doing, CG and blender will allways push you further and give you this will to learn more and more everyday.

Thanks for sharing your heart warming experience. One of the things I love about blender is not just the software but the community.

Yeah, this was exactly what it was about.
More of the nice feedback of a happy student, you just get friendly when sharing the same passion
