Quick Tip: Creating seamless textures

If you scale down a seamless texture, you will see (mostly) the repeating. Here is a quick tutorial how to fix it in Blender.

    It’s a good idea and it helps, but it doesn’t solve the problem. I wouldn’t recommend this for a main object, but instead for ground planes that are going to be covered with grass, or other less prominant objects.

    Can you make it repeating on a sphere (not using UV mapping, using sphere projection added in blender 2.74).
