2D MIX for Blender Cycles

3

Quickly apply different rendering styles with Pistol Ioan Alexandru's new 2D Mix Addon.

2D MIX for Blender Cycles is based on nodes and the internal textures of Blender Cycles, and can offer 2D art materials in a very short time.

With one slider called “Texture Mix” in global settings, you can view the model in different artistic styles and textures, from shiny vector with noisy trace to the trace of brush using the Smooth option, and much more.

  1. Hi,
    Stunning work!
    Looks very userfriendly!
Is there a way to set/ control edge thickness by local light value? I was looking for this also in Freestyle...
So if You'd m ake a grey sphere and a light source comming from the upper left in the picture, the result would be a grey circle with a black edge. Thinner edge at '10 o clock' and thick edge at '4 o clock'.....
In line art linethicknes helps indicating form and volume...
Would this be possible with this add on?

      Hey Erik,

Would be a great idea to have this, or something similar to make the thickness more easy to define for objects at different distances.

I will take your idea in consideration for the future releases.
      Thanks for appreciation.
