Trailer: Down to the Wire

5

I like everything about this trailer, from the surprising characters to the cinematic editing.

Juan Carlos Mostaza writes:

Hi everybody,

My name is Juan Carlos Mostaza, 10 years ago, we develop a short film called Broken Wire. It  won more than 40 international prizes, and it was nominated to Goya prize (Spanish Oscars). BW was one of the most awarded short films along 2006.

Now I’m developing a new 12 minutes film, “Down to the Wire”, with the same characters. This new project is being fully developed in Blender/Cycles. (2K Cinemascope). Its Synopsis: Somewhere in a world settled by people made of wire, an stranger arrives to a ghost town where the only inhabitants are a man and his daughter...

So I’d like to share the progress and more information about “Down To The Wire” from now on. You will find all this info on Facebook.

I've been working in my 3D animation company LaCatedral, so Down to the Wire is a personal project that has been made in my spare time (that is not so much ;D).

I’d like to share the trailer of Down to the Wire:

Great work! Lots of impressing looking footage there. You might want to be a bit more careful in the scene with the rocks. There's lot's of stretching there.
