Guus' Rocket

What happens when a 3D printing artist has his first son? He creates a printable birth card! Check out Dolf Veenvliet (Macouno)'s awesome story.

To announce the arrival of our son and astronaut, Guus, I created a little card that doubles as a rocket construction kit. We 3D printed 60 kits (on my Makerbot Replicator 1) to send to our friends. A little card with instructions was slotted into the kit itself.

You can download the 3D printable file from thingiverse.com and make your own rocket!
