Ton Writes:Hi all, Here are the notes from today’s meeting in irc.freenode.net, #blendercoders.
1) Blender 2.74 RC4
- A fourth Release Candidate was published this week, all seems to be ok, but we wait a couple of days before deciding to actually do the release.
- The logs are coming together well too.
- Still needed: demo files, and images to show “custom split normals”.
2) Targets for 2.75
- Updated the planning and release targets.
- Patch from AMD to split up Cycles OpenCL kernel has been added on the release target list.
- Multiview branch is mergable too, Dalai is traveling now but should be able to handle it soon.
- Campbell Barton: the Delta Mush modifier can go to master soon. It works very well, also makes envelope bones more useful, – no need to weight paint.
- Call again: volunteer to collect cool .blend files for releases, and/or better regression suite files for developers and artists to test Blender well.
