Blender 2.74 first Release Candidate is now available so I thought this was a good time to introduce 4 of the new features I find the most useful.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!).
