The whole set is built inside blender and rendered with cycles then comped in After Effects. We used the Blenders sapling tree generator as a base to sculpt and texture our own maps to. We used Blender Gurus "Grass essentials" for the undergrowth.
The complex horse animation is done in after effects and then applied to a simple plane in blender.
