Coming from 3D Studio Max/Vray and the LMP render layer manager, one of the first things I evaluated about Blender was render layer capability. Unfortunately, Blender’s version of this feature can be quite confusing at first – even now I can get confused from time to time. But render layers are important and valuable to understand. So allow me five minutes to explain!
