Better Grease by Johnny Matthews is a clever extension of Blender's grease pencil that allow you to easily add text and object outlines to your drawings.
Making legible notes with the grease pencil can be a difficult task and trying to mock up animation of object movement in a precise way can also be time consuming. PencilText alleviates both of these issues in the 3D viewport.

wow way cool what would be awesome would be grease pencil animation alongside vertex painted planes in the viewport, grease pencil could be the outlines and the vertex coloured planes could be the colouring in of the characters instead of using the grease pencil fill option which fills in a shape with a colour, because it only works on convex shapes but does not work on concave shapes.
