Another impressive sculpt by Doris!

Portrait of Magnus Carlsen, world champion in chess 2014 (and 2013 as well). Completely done in blender, no other program was used. I hope you like it :-)

Everything was created in Blender, here is a wireframe and some steps to show how I went about it… (I did not crank up all the multires levels, otherwise the wires would be just black)

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.
