Blender Presentation in Torreón, México, December 10

Daniel F. R. Gordillo will be presenting Blender at the Arocena Museum in Torreón tomorrow.
Hello! Just want to share this info about the next conference I’m giving, this time in my hometown, Torreón, México, in the fantastic Arocena Museum which is a remarkably big venue with an equally big hispanic art collection and event agenda. The conference will consist of:
The Open source software licenses, a brief Blender Foundation history and projects, professionals using Blender around the world and a showcase of their work, some of my own work to demonstrate the program use.
I’m gonna show Blender usage through my own work, gonna show among others, Flamboyant Paradise and Art DDs (Argentina & Russia) TV ads, a brief explanation of open source software (Dreamwork’s migration to Linux) and upcoming features in Blender, like Mantaflow integration, OpenSubDiv and Fracture Modifier.
You can see some of the videos I will show on my YouTube channel.

Very nice, Its hard to find blender-heads in Mexico. They are all still in the wave of commercial software ): Are you gonna stream it? I live in Mexico City and surely can’t get over there. Keep it up preaching about blender!
no stream, but we are gonna upload the entire conference to YouTube, just need to work on some subtitles.
