How to Render a Complex Scene without it Crashing

2

Optimize rendering your scene using this Blender Guru tip.

Andrew Price writes:

I was skyping with a coworker (Rob) when he shared with me a technique for rendering complex scenes on almost any computer. It involves render layers - but using them to save you memory usage.

I was amazed at how useful it was, but also shocked at how I'd never heard of it.
