Wow, this motherboard by by Xelus is SO detailed!

Hi folks,Always wanted to model some computer parts, and while waiting to get a supplier for system parts for my new rig, I decided, heck why not model the board I'm aiming at buying. This model consists of 1497 individual parts I modeled. I'm considering in modeling parts like the graphics cards as well as the power-supply and many other parts too, and then maybe create a collective gallery with all the parts fitted and plugged in.

Behold, the MSI 990fxa-gd80 board that support the crazy FX9590 CPU, in full 3D. Hope you guys like the end result.

Render Time: 20 minutes (GPU)

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
