Nachoc won the previous weekend contest with his Pumpkins. He picked 'Your City' as this weekend's theme.
Nachoc write:
"Your city"
What inspires you? What do you like in your city? What is your favorite photo? Meal? ¿Festivals? ¿Buildings? People?
I hope the people will be encouraged to participate ...
Greetings.

TOKYO
so here my first time in weekend contest. This is my university campus (universidad de Costa Rica), Game of Thrones version.
Milwaukee!
I decided to feature three of my favorite buildings in the city: the 1911 home of Charles and Sarah Allis designed by local architect Alexander Escweiler, the Central Library designed by Ferry & Clas (oddly enough the design of this building was determined via a contest back in the 1890s), and the Quadracci Pavilion (the Milwaukee Art Museum) designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
I really wish I had more time to work on this, it's sort of my life mission to restore Milwaukee back to its former glory.
Oh, and everything was designed and rendered using a chromebook
So, with about a half hour to make an entry, I came up with this low-poly city. It resembles the style of architecture that can be seen in my city. Enjoy!
Its looks really good.
Thanks! :)
But now you have!!!!!!!
Could you give me some tips on low poly.
Here is my entry. Please tell me if you seeway to improve it.
Its lonely here. :(
Hey man, sorry for the late reply, but I've been pretty busy (as you can see from the quickness of my image)
Anyways, your image is a really interesting concept! I would suggest perhaps making the city more detailed, and in the voxel-style of Minecraft rather than just texturing. It might help/make it easier if you made the city on a table rather than a plate. Also, try experimenting with node effects such as vignettes and glares to add to the realism.
Great job, and I can't wait to see your next work! :)
Did you see the car?
YES SIR!!!!!!
Here it is!!! does it look beter?

Here is the stamps for it.
Here are the stamps. ;)
Here is my take on the Alliant Energy tower from downtown Cedar Rapids Iowa
"City of Tree Houses" There is a small section of tree houses in my city, I just glorified them and added a fire. Critiques appreciated!
Here is my image.
I hope you like it!
This is my loose interpretation of a funny artwork that is placed in the middle of a roundabout in my city, Enschede. It always makes me smile when I see it :)
I attached a photo of the real roundabout for reference. Enjoy!
Ha, I recognized it even before reading the text! Well done :)
Haha, that's so cool. Thanks!
This is an interpretation of the view I have of my city (Mexico City) when I'm on my way to school at dawn. Didn't have enough time to render more samples than this (725 samples) so I used Ps noise reduction. No other post processing made.

Since around here in the Cape area (South Africa) it's wine country, I did a rough rendition of a nearby KWV cellar, which honestly could be any cellar anywhere and looks like a communist bomb shelter in the render. Thought I'd submit it anyway at this late hour.
I love the texturing! Fantastic job, there seems to be a lot of detail.
Thanks! Glad you like it. The displacement did bring out a "grittyness" to the image.
My city here..Didn't finished it also needed more time for texture and materials and road systems. But hope that I'll win! Btw it's Vilnius city, (just couple streets not all Vilnius..Too big for all )
The winner has been announced!
