Last weekend, I went to the Blender Conference armed with a 3D scanner from Sketchfab. My goal: scanning all attendees. After two days, I had a collection of 97 true 'Blender heads' ;-)
I was using the Structure scanner, a small add-on for iPads which uses a technology similar to Kinects. The free itSeez3D software allowed me to capture a person in under a minute! I'm still waiting for the full list of names (hey, if you didn't claim your head yet, contact me!), but it's already a cool impression of the people at the event. If you're living around Amsterdam, Paris or New York City and you'd like to get your face scanned, please contact me and I'll arrange something!

Try this, change viewer mode to first person, then walk to the inside of one of the person models and do a 180 turn so you are looking through it's eyes... depending on the perspective it can look rather funny..
Fantastic, I was just looking into getting a structure scanner, looks like they are well worth it.
