Fixation snowboard

This is an old project than I began 1 year ago. The purpose is to render this object in a complete environment (a ski shop that I have already created ). But in first I wanted to create a studio like render. For this image I used only open source softwares: OS Linux, Blender and Cycles, of course :-), and The Gimp + Darktable for the small color corrections.

This binding model exists (Rome Targa), so I used references and blueprints to model it. I used almost only mirror, subsurface, and curve modifiers.

To add details I use a lot of crease tool.

The materials were very long to adjust and in fact, the lighting and rendering were almost simple.
