A Gooseberry side project

In 2009 we asked the ‘godfather of Dutch comics’ Martin Lodewijk to help us as a writer for for the Durian project. He wrote several stories for us and came up with the name Sintel. The stories were great but beyond the capacities of our small team. In good understanding we went our own ways and made Sintel as we all know it – a memorable but quite different short film.

While concepts and scripts for project Gooseberry were in development, we had some time left for a fun side project. We decided to check on Martin’s most famous cartoon character – the Dutch secret Agent 327. How would it work to turn a typical 2d cartoon into 3d? A huge challenge indeed. But the team managed quite decently!

So – as a hommage to Martin Lodewijk – here it is. A fun surprise!
