By Daniel F. R. Gordillo.
I wanted to test the release candidate version for upcoming Blender 2.72, so I thought of doing a little Jordu Schell homage, using his 50's alien head design for this 1-hour sketch.
I used Dyntopo for the sculpt, and 3 vertex-color layers for the final render. I really like how the color palettes are now integrated within the tool panels. I used the old palettes plugin, and didn't quite like its layout, or workflow.
