Holy clouds!! With cycles, Blender reached the next level on atmospheric effects. Beside Blender, I use Vue. And I use it just because Blender, until now, wasn't capable of create this gorgeous clouds. Blender are becoming more and more a complete 3d software.
Looks nice, but i wonder the cycle smoke sim, + wind force...can you use that to get a similar result ?.
Its not your first cloud so maybe its a challenge for your next cloud.
If you get the settings right.
Still, generating huge cloudscapes with smoke may be difficult, depending on your RAM. However scene like this takes around 10GB of RAM to generate and render:
