The uber room

A great architectural viz image by BlackBoard studios.

We in BlackBoard Studios wanted to create an architecture visualization.

The inspiration for the 3D simulation came from apartment seeking we did in airbnb and houzz.com.  We looked for rooms with a unique atmosphere. We wanted to make a room with a small story behind it, on the people who use it which anyone can interpret differently. The atmosphere in the frame comes from the light in the room,  the plants outside the window and the overall color grading.

The render engine in this frame was cycles and for the lighting we used only HDR map and for the final modeling part we used some sculpt on the walls pillows etc..."

      • i think, if he wanted to make the lightbulb as the POI, he would make it more special and detailed. yeah.. just a chunk of tip in andrew's architecture academy.
