Creating glowing metal

1

In this tutorial Michael Lackner teaches us how to create a glowing metal effect.

I will walk you through the material setup for a realistic heated metal. I show you, how you can use simple images as paper and painted metal to create the look you want. So I hope you can make some useful stuff with it and you enjoyed watching it.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
