New Course: Freestyle Level up!

11

The BlenderNPR team is now offering a commercial training course for Freestyle.

BNPR's Freestyle Level Up! is an online downloadable intermediate to advance Freestyle course produced by an international collaboration between "Sage" Light BWK--a storyteller from Malaysia and Lee Posey--a sheet metal wizard from USA.Freestyle is defined as geometry based, post processed line art. The course covers many areas of freestyle from basic features, how to implement it into a workflow, troubleshooting, power tips, tricks and most importantly, how to approach modeling for line art.

With Freestyle, you can masterfully create geometry based post-processed line art from very basic to very advanced for your still images, product design, arch-viz, motion graphics and motion pictures.

The course is the most precise to date, where all facts are checked by Tamito Kajiyama, Freestyle's current developer/maintainer (A dedicated individual!). There is no second guessing, early reviewers have said it is condensed, clear, quick and fun.

Our course is not just aimed to educate you about Blender's wonderful line art renderer. The course has a second goal. A portion of sales will be channeled to the further development of the internal renderer, specifically the BEER project, which is headed by the BNPR team as well.

There is a saying amongst pro Freestyle users that sounds like this "Freestyle is 95% modeling and 5% freestyle settings." That and more will be further clarified in the course. Click the link below to level up your freestyle line art skills.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
