Melbourne Blender Society – May 22

0

Blenderheads in Melbourne are meeting this Thursday and they have a special guest: Andy Goralcyzk!

Andrew Buttery writes:

The Melbourne Blender society will be meeting at VPAC Systems Office on Thursday the 22nd of May from 6 to 8:30pm.

It’s going to be another busy session with our special guest Andy Goralcyzk. Andy has worked on many Blender Foundation films, has released training CDs and has just released his epic short film Omega.

Our own short film, code named Project Charcoal, has left pre-production and animation has started. We’ll show some of the first outputs and share some of the challenges that we had.

Melbourne Blender Society is also participating in the World Blender Day scheduled for August. We’ll give a quick rundown of where the planning is at and will brainstorm some ideas for topics.

After the success of intro to rigging last month, Andrew Buttery will do a quick Intro to Compositing showing how to use the compositor to save you time in your renders and add cool effects like bloom, glare and lens distortion.

Finally, we will have a Q&A session where the experienced members try to answer any questions or solve any problems you have encountered. Come on, try to find a question they can’t answer!

So see you Thursday 22nd at:
