Live concert performance with Blender backdrop

3

Manuel A Lopez created a 10 minute backdrop for a live performance of "Gettysburg" by the Monache Band Concert in California.

Manuel A Lopez writes:

This is a local news event at a Small Town in California with a 3D animation of a song with a live band sync with the music. I created this entire 3D piece from Blender with help from After Effects in post production. Here is the link it is a piece of about 10 minutes in length I hope that more people check it out, and see what Blender is capable of.

  1. Weird music, especially for a Civil War tribute--it's about the same as using punk rock for a WW I tribute. It just didn't click for me.

It's weird when it tends to be cartoonish but the material is realistic. He should turn on the GI settings in the Blender Internal (what's the name?).
