This short film by is abour (perceived) failure. While not without its flaws, it does a tremendous job telling an emotional story.

After 6 months of work, I've finally decided it's time to release this short film. "Vetri" is about a boy who continually fails in life and enrols in a "Guide To Success" course which promises him great success. Feeling jealous about his brother's success and wanting the approval of his parents, he goes about trying to change his life for the better. A feel-good comedy film.
The film was made using Blender 2.66 and rendered in Cycles using the BURP Renderfarm (also some frames on RenderStreet and SheepIt Renderfarm). For the characters, I used the CG Cookie Flex Rig. I mainly developed this film in my spare time.
Thanks to everyone who followed and supported this project throughout! This pretty much gave me motivation to keep plugging away at the film even when I felt like I couldn't be bothered. I'll be releasing the sets used in the film on BlendSwap in a few weeks. The scripts and storyboards will follow shortly after!

BlenderNation caters to an international audience, and English is the main language. You're welcome to publish comments in other languages, as long as they contain an English translation as well.
Thanks,

Well well well, not bad. Good message, funny stuff, interesting story that many can relate you. Very good work. Animation at time is very ... stick? But the story is solid, the idea is great and I think you have a good short film here. Good work.
