New Competition: What Really Happened

2

Blender Guru has launched a new competition themed 'What Really Happened'. Solve the big mysteries of this world in Blender and win!

Andrew Price writes:

How was Stonehenge really formed? What’s causing ships to sink at the Bermuda Triangle? And what were those strange noises in the sky from 2012?

This contest is about fleshing out your ideas for what really happened in history. It can be funny, serious or 100% tinfoil conspiracy fodder. Doesn’t matter :)

Pick an event in history from any time, and show us in Blender what really happened.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Given the title and the author, the first thing I thought of was the Sony copyright claim against Sintel. Not sure how to model that in Blender though!
