New Web Series Made With Blender

On the first episode, improve your decision making using The Force (with a little bonus at the end after the credits).
Of course, I did everything using our favourite piece of software, Blender : pre-production, modeling/texturing (I used the very nice Yoda model from Matt Hoecker available on Blend Swap), rigging, animation, cloth simulation, lighting and rendering with Cycles, camera tracking, compositing, color balance and video editing. The footage was shot with a Canon 7D DSLR.

Very cool! Did your DSLR have magic lantern?
We did not use it, but it looks quite interesting, particularly the HDR filming option. Have you ever used it ?
Very cool! my only suggestion would be to have a ball of light where the lightsabers meet this gives the effect that they are colliding.

thank you all for your comments. My replies to the questions in due order :
– Our DSLR has the original firmware (no magic lantern), all light/color tweaking was made with Blender.
– There is actually a light flash when the lightsaber collide (although its well ..OK maybe a bit subtle)
– We are acually talking, in french though (seriously ;) but we dubbed it in english in order to post it here.
