What's surprising is how non-impressed I am by the physics-based-lighting stuff. Cycles has spoiled me. OpenSubDiv is cool, though.
Overall, I weren't impressed either, sure that it was high-res was nice, but then again with a NVIDIA K6000 it's not a problem.
Sure wish they'd add OpenSubDiv in Blender, now that they've changed the licenses as well so anyone can use it.
That's great, but I can't afford this Nvidia K6000...
On a side part, did you notice the pose library with Sully faces ?

Yeah, OpenSubDiv needs to come into Blender, being as Gooseberry is a development project, that may very well come to be.
