GREAT TON ! we’ll make it of course and thanks again for your vision :-)
I’ve just signed up to Blender Cloud. If you’re not sure, first go to the Adobe website. Vomit profusely when you see their obscene prices and pay-forever CC ransom system. Finally, as the perfect antidote, go to the Gooseberry site and sign up for Blender Cloud.
They should hook up a microphone when doing these videos. It’s hard enough to understand Ton well recorded. ;-)
I agree, better audio would have made this much more watchable. Ton has great messages which may be lost on those who can’t hear past the room troubled room acoustics
The message at the very end should be on Blender Nation and all Blender sites’ banner, it made me want to pay. Then maybe we would like to know what happens if we collect 200000 for instance, as it is still quite a big amount of money. Why not a smaller Gooseberry project ? If Gooseberry does not happen what are the alternatives and when would they start, will we wait another year ?
It took me a while to come around on this “cloud” stuff (as Reaction59 points out, for-profits do disgusting things with the concept) but I’m very excited to kick in my few bucks and help this project. As usual, Ton’s vision is a sophisticated and creative one, and I hope for all the best for Gooseberry!
