Blender artist Igor Miroshnichenko explains how to export an animated Blender asset to Verold so you can embed it in your website.
Igor writes:
Hi, this is Igor, CG Artist from Moldova. I'm going to show you how to bring your skin animations from Blender and show them off using Verold Studio.
I've been Verold Studio for about a month and it's amazing! It offers a enough common 3d features (Lights, Materials, Maps, Animations and more) and it's really easy to use. If you have some ready game assets that you would like to share with your friends or to demonstrate to the client with all it's features, welcome on Verold! After uploading several characters from the game that our team currently developing, I was asked to write quick tutorial for Blender Users on how to export assets from Blender correctly and assemble those in Verold Engine.
I'm going to use my Faun character for this tutorial because it's Rigged and has a set of animations, so I'm able to bring some life in the artwork.

Animation in a 3D preview?
This is awesome!
Been waiting for this, SketchFab is launching this aswell soon.
Very interesting feature, but I prefer SketchFab for license reason. Verold seems to be free and provide great results, but I totally disagree with its licensing policy which is like Facebook's one as well as Tweeter's (services that I will never use for that reason, even if they are a good way to be known) : You grant them a worldwide license allowing to do whatever they want with your uploaded content/artwork. From my point of view, this is totally unacceptable.
