I've used the LoopTools before but only for very small things. IT looks like a lot more useful features than I really thought. Thanks, Olav, for making these tip demonstrations!!

Any idea why the 'circle' tool sometimes rotates the circle? Sometimes you can just rotate it back to the correct angle, but other times, it's impossible to rotate it back without having that rotation wreck the surrounding faces/verts. I can try to recreate this if nobody knows what I'm talking about. Maybe it happens if you don't apply a transform? (although I'm pretty sure I've checked this when it's happened)
Dear lord, have these been here the whole time??? I've always been a little upset that Blender didn't have a loft tool, and its just been hiding there all along. Also really wish I'd known about space, and flatten....so many hours I could have saved....brb retooling my ENTIRE workflow!

One potential idea for enhancing the "spacing" tool -- and this might not be compatible with the current inner workings of the program -- might be to pre-calculate a smooth curve which interpolates through the existing vertices (not the approximating "cubic" option) and then respace the vertices to sit on that curve. Unless I'm already describing something that will be part of the "Contours" addon anyway, in that case the effort would just be redundant. But they aren't actually quite the same thing... Contours is mostly for the retopo of a separately sculpted object, Looptools I think of as refining an existing quad mesh directly. How about it? Add an "Interpolation" mode to complement the Linear and Cubic options in the Looptools Spacing panel?
While I'm this far into it, imagine combining this with vertex groups to freeze some fixed points in place for maintaining detail loop sharpness... that would be really powerful.
I misspoke earlier. What I should have said was, the Looptools Spacing tool is the most useful and powerful thing I've seen in a long time. :)
