The Gooseberry project has just posted a first glimpse of their ideas and I hope you like sheep. The characters are either sheep or have some sheep-like characteristics. I wonder what's going on here... Thoughts?

Great timing! :D Goats are the hottest thing right now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgTQglGvNUs
Joke aside, I really like the art! It is gonna be really fun to follow the development of Gooseberry :)
looks interesting........ to say the least. I hope they don't go to 'over the top' with the weirdness factor :-)
I really like David Revoy's style!
Those aren't sheep or goats with those long fluffy tails and bifurcating horns. Not sure what they are.
To be honest, I was hoping for a more 'serious' animation, and not an nth 'cartoony Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks-style animals-as-humans cute' kind.
Oh how true. My heart sank when I saw yet MORE cute bug-eyed seen-it-all-before creatures in the picture above.
PLEASE Blender Foundation! DON'T make any more of this Pixar-esque crap! Be original!
Funny considering how Big Buck Bunny is to this date probably the BF's most popular and well known animation.
Mind you Project Gooseberry may be in 3d, and considering how stylized "pixar-esque crap" often looks better than something trying to be "über realistisch" (Beowulf looked horrible and as gorgeous as James Cameron's Avatar was, How to train your dragon looked better).
Besides, art style has no bearing on story, it all depends on how seriously it takes itself (Avatar the last Air-bender had a bright Anime/Oriental style and had a very serious story).
Also is it just me or do those little fellas look like Qilins being chased by a Jackalope?
Amazing work! I love the use of color. The villain looks like a raging' cartoon mole with horns. :P

Clearly, they were reading from the Necro-Baaaaaa!-icon. It does not bode well for them.
