LordScorp won this weekend's contest with a staggering majority of votes! His work is beautifully themed and painted in luscious materials. Congratulations LordScorp! You can pick the topic for next weekend’s contest. Please don’t the topic here, but contact me at bart @ this website. Have fun selecting one :)
There were three other images though this time that I think deserve an extra mention. Read on!
The first one is Eric Varela's entry. Set in a low-poly setting, the image does a great job conveying the feeling of the cold, harsh environment and of the warm, safe fire:
The second one is Thomas Nordstrøm's zombie hideout. I love it because it invited me in to examine what was going on here. Great work!
The third one is Marco Mazzo's über cute little elephant:
The last image I want to mention here is rollon's water mill. It's a beautiful and tranquil setting, well done!
Thanks for participating everyone! It's such a pleasure to see all these entries come in over the weekend :)

Well deserved for a delicious fruit.....my first wow-effect and the beginning of a big admiration for tropical fruits were with pineapples in brazil...now just a variation of odd Sponge-Bob should enrich the scene!
Congrats!
Wohoo i learned something from the Winner Picture. I didnt knew that the Cashew fruit is looking like a paprika :) I just know them packed in a plastic Bag! Is the fruit eatable?
Congrats LordScorp!
Well, the ripe fruit is chewed and the juice swallowed. You have to spit out the pulp. BTW Goa (India) is famous for Feni http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feni_%28liquor%29 (a strong-smelling potent liquor made out of cashew fruit).
Congratulations to all.. specially to LordScorp!
Please share with us the texturing and shading. I'm really curious!
Congratulations LordSorp, you won by a country mile!!
Congratulations to LordScorp! :) I loved that image. I showed it to my daughter, she loved it too. It's amazing to see what people can come up with over a weekend. :)
