And for even more Blender-comic action (see also yesterday's post on Paul Caggegi's 'Pandeia'), A. Shaheed Muttaqi announces the first episode of Wrath.

A. Shaheed Muttaqi writes:

Wrath Issue #1 is now available online!

Wrath is an ongoing 3d horror comic made primarily in Blender.

You can read the lo-res version of the book online.

Hi Res Digital downloads are available for $3.00 on my own site and for Kindle on Amazon (prices on Amazon seem to vary by region).

Included in its download package, is an innovative HTML5 version that uses custom page transitions for a cinematic feel and a 3D interactive splash panel allowing the reader to jump right into the gruesome action. Also included is the Wrath:Raw variant, which features the full book using untextured character and location models.

I'm having a lot of fun creating this book. The advances in Blender's technology (sss, hair, etc) have contributed greatly.

Im working on Issue #2 now. You can keep up with its progress on www.wrathcomic.com.

Is any motive given for the zombies’ destructive proclivities?

It would be interesting to create an infection with a believable biology behind it. For example, it modifies the behaviour of its host in order to further its own reproductive cycle. Or the host needs to die in a certain way. Like how anthrax requires its host to bleed into the ground, so the bacterium can continue its life cycle in the soil, before infecting the next host.

    • Thats a great theory dude! But........Its a bit more complex lol. Everything will be revealed.

Eventually I'll be doing one-shots and a short miniseries that fleshes out this world of superheroes before the events of Wrath.
