As I haven't received a suggestion from last week's winner yet, I'll go ahead and pick a topic for this weekend's contest myself. I'm looking for the dirtiest, dustiest, most broken thing you can render. What can you come up with?

Post your work below (attach an image), and vote for your winner. The winner will get a post on monday. Have fun!

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Here's my image, I'm re-rendering it to try and get rid of the speckles, but here is the image with speckles, just to make sure it is on time. I call it, "After. . ."

  2. Here is my render. "After. . ."
I'm re-rendering it so that it doesn't have the speckles, but I wanted to make sure I got it on here.

  3. After few hours of "work" i've decided to post this render. Thank you to the few guys from Blendswap as "emptyspaces" for the creation and the texture of the portholes. ;-) Post processing of the title with Gimp. Sorry about that.

  4. Here is my render. An old manometer.
This is not the most bad ugly, dusties or bronken thing i'm able to render but time is the limitiing factor. But in my view 2 images is to less for this weekend contest.
    Regards,
    Ben.
