Glownix technology solutions, India, are developing a 36-part animation series. And what makes them unique is that the entire series is done in full 3D. With Blender, of course.

Hari Krishnan writes:

We've undergone research on the 3d Software called Blender for more than 3 Years and we developed our own Production Pipline using Blender. We consulted with world standard Blender community artist and finally we concluded our Research with filming the Wild Hero episode in 3d Stereoscopic and we are developing towards the technology of Parallax Barrier and auto-3D. Interested Cartoon Episode Distributors are welcome, contact us through our Website.

If you have 3D hardware, you can also view this episode in full 3D:

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

Not bad! Incredible ideas for the scenery, and I love how they're handling lighting, plant life, and the ocean! The only thing these people seem to need to work on would be the animation... It's not bad so far, but could be much better for a tech company.

Looking at what else these guys have created, I'm surprised they don't have a stronger animation team. Their modellers are superb though! For a company producing simulations, I'm just surprised they aren't as focused on reproducing lifelike movement.
