Blenderheads are meeting November 3rd 1-4pm at the University of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
John Fino writes:
Want to learn how to improve Blender yourself? Want to fix that annoying bug? Want to just understand Blender better on a technical level?
Come to the next Minnbug meeting and learn how. We'll look as aspects of Blender from programming languages and API's, to the design of specific systems, and finally a demonstration on how to use these to write patches.
The meeting, as usual is at the U of M, Minneapolis, Keller Hall, Room 1-260. Maps here.
We will also broadcast the meetup live on our Google+ Hangouts page - though it will be way more interesting in person, I guarantee.
For more information, visit the forums. Say hi and see what the group is up to.
Do you want to start your own Blender meetup?
Check out our 'Usermeetings near YOU' page to see how you can register a town, get in touch with local Blender users and get your own Blender meetup going.

Would be nice if you guys recorded the presentation and posted it on YouTube.
That's once of the nice features about Hangouts OnAir - after the live feed YouTube automatically publishes the Hangout on our channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC71bXjyCWvfdikucd1jEQ1Q/feed
YouTube just started allowing separate channels, and we have old meetups elsewhere I'll try to get uploaded there.
Great! I'm interested in getting involved in Blender development so I'll make sure I see it.
