I have always thought that there are not enough good tutorials explaining Blender's unwrapping tool on the web. In order to fill this gap I decided to create a short with a few examples that show how to easily create seams and choose best method for the whole process. I hope you'll enjoy it and happy blending!

Hey, very well illustrated! A solid production of tips, good for the Blender learning library. I always appreciate someone trying to clarify a basic aspect of using Blender and you did it pretty well here. I wish this was around when I was first learning Blender! Thanks for this contribution, Mookie!
If I may make a friendly suggestion for a next video ,if you might make another one by chance, perhaps UV sculpting and looking at uses for the various unwrapping types could be your next topic--I think that'd go well to follow the video.
Oliver Villar made a tut on UV sculpting : http://www.blendtuts.com/displacement_uvs_sculpt
I haven't checked it out but dude has a habit of making quality tutorials so peep it.
