Blender School is hosting a series of very good video tutorials (both in English and Italian). Blender Foundation Certified Trainer Umberto Oldani also offers an architecture workshop in Italian.

Umberto writes:

In this course I explain all necessary phases to create a realistic image with Blender, starting from import a CAD file in Blender to final compositing.

So, I show how to model the building, the roof, the windows, the street, the plants and the tree, the railings, etc. I explain how to use the Blender particle system, how to create the materials and how to make the texturing. I use Blender Render as render engine, so I show how to set the lights and then how to use the compositing in Blender to make the final touch.

Please note that for the moment it is in Italian language. You can contact Umberto at [email protected]..

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
