Interview: Blender 2.67 & its 3D new Printing Features

I spent my weekend at the Maker Faire in Newcastle, UK, where I was joined by Andrew Walker. We were both staffing the Shapeways stand, so it was natural we started chatting about Blender’s new 3D Printing tools. Thanks for the vid, Andrew!

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.

Great feature!

With new printers coming out all the time that are even cheaper and higher resolution than the previous generation, Blender will be really expanding its user base.

The only disturbing thing about the interview was the VVS.
