Hi, I want to present an Animation I've made with Blender as Main render package. Music is from Joel Nielson who made the Soundtrack for Black Mesa ( Halflife Source )

Production Time: 5 Weeks including concept, previs , rendering, compositing and RND.

All Shots are rendert in Blender, with Cycles then composed onto Planes in Nuke and its 3d workspace.

The particles and simulations are made in Houdini 12 and then exported to Blender with my Houdini to Blender connection ( the fallen pieces are simulated via cloth and dops in Houdini 12 and then copied onto the highres mesh. The explosion got more than 1 mio particles each Frame.

Rendertime of all assets including final scenes: around 50 Hours on Nvidia Cuda 550 TI and around 30 Hours in Nuke.
